RETURN FLIGHTS FOR SKILLED MIGRANT
« on: October 18, 2016, 01:33:21 pm »
Good Day

We are going the DIY way and we were wondering is it needed to have return flights when going over with a skilled migrant visa?

We needed return flights 12 years ago when we went to England on working Visas.  But is it needed for a skilled migrant visa to New Zealand.

Thanks  :)

No, Holding a residence visa should enable you to buy  one way tickets.
Be sure to check out IOM for cheaper flights with slightly higher baggage allowances.
They don't have a fancy website, so call them. They are extremely helpful. We saved quite a lot buying ticket through them in 2013.
DIY Residence Application - Roughly 18 months
Arrived in Wellington with Residence - 1st May 2013
Relocated to Auckland - 24th May 2015
