OMG!  I agree, I wouldn't show her this before she has to fly! Did you also have such a "rough" landing?

NZ vs OZ..... Our reasons for coming to NZ..... quicker to get into, a little worried because bil had been turned down by OZ a good few years ago, I have family in Wellington, we got extra points for that, and as Linda says there is no humidity especially in Dunedin.

Although we have a number of friends who are in OZ.

I think once people overcome the financial barriers, most will agree that NZ IS a better place to live in than OZ anyway

Oz is beautiful BUT I find that in general the ozzies are too brash for me. Also not as laid back as the Kiwis. NZ was our first choice because it offers everything that we could look for. Also no matter where you go it is beautiful unlike Oz where you have a small strip thats great and the rest hot and dry. We will be spending holidays in Oz as my brother in law has settled in Brisbane. Syd has also been approached about a new mining project in Oz where we would settle in NZ and he would work in Oz for 4 weeks nad 2 weeks at home. THe company would fly him back anf forth. Will check ti out once we are settled as the money on offer is good and only a 5 year contract.
