Didi you have to thank your Sis for me.  It is nice to get a unbiased view of the place.

Thanx DiDi

And tell your sister GROOT BAIE DANKIE !!

Can you ask her what the situation is like on the farms (lifestyle properties), as far as crime is concerned.

Do they have a problem with lifestock theft and housebrakings ?

Any info on Kerikeri ? How far is it from Whangerei?

Can one live in Kerikeri and comute to work in Whangerei?

Looks like farmland could be affordable in that area,

and that is exactly where I would like to find myself !!

In the northeastern part of NI.

Hawkes bay also looks like a nice place.

I was looking in the window of a property agent to see what accomodation was out there and the next thing an agent was standing next me. When she heard my son and I speaking afrikaans she switched to afrikaans as well. She said it was a treat for her to hear her language again.

It would be nice if you could have her details (e-mail) listed here, or get her to become a member.

I for instance have a lot of questions about real estate, ie how the financing works,

where to buy and where not, should one try to buy on auction,

Can a farm be bought as a going concern, and the bond repayments be structured

to be payd of from the yields of the land, ie quarterly after harvesting, or

anually after lifestock is sold off, and can addissional funds be added onto the bond

to establish a herd, or get a crop planted etc?

Soos ons in SA se ons boer op die kooperasie se rekening.
