Medication
« on: August 21, 2007, 08:57:27 am »
Hello everyone
I've been taking Canyon products here in SA for the past 12 years and am really loathe to stop taking them.  Haven't had a cold/flu etc etc for many years.  Will it be possible for me to have it sent to me in NZ without problems with customs?

Mandy,  you would need a script to get them through customs on you, not sure how it would

Nolan they aren't prescribed by a doctor at all.  It's bascially just vitamins and minerals.

Rhodan it's a South African based company so no, they aren't sold there.
They can't be bought in a chemist or anything but only direct from Canyon themselves

I brought some over the counter medicine (just some pain reliever) in my hand luggage.  They waived me through... just don't have fresh apples in your luggage, that's all!!  :heeha:

Hi Didi77
Great idea but I'm sure there must be lots of rules and regulations to get this type of stuff in.  Surely they don't allow just anything to be sent to you.

An update on my question after contacting NZ customs.
They say that providing that none of the ingredients are on the endangered species list it shouldn't be a problem.  May be subject to GST on arrival.

Hi MJ. Do you think I can just carry on collecting and then go to my house doc and get him to write a letter confirming it's all ours? oes anyone know how this works?
