Yip, im using the public transport. I think it is great. It is cheaper as parking is terrible and expensive in the city. I drive and drop the kids off at their schools, I park outside my youngests school and catch the bus on the corner straight into the city and the bus stops almost outside my work. The bus gets to use the transit lane (3 or more occupants/buses/motorbikes) out of my neighbourhood onto the highway. If I was driving it would take me half an hour longer than it does on the bus.   If you have a rough idea where you are going to live and work you can look up www.maxx.co.nz  that is the website for the public transport (ferries, busses and trains) another good website is www.wises.co.nz. the wises website is online maps.

That is SUCH awesome information. I was saying to Natasha last night that this site has answered questions that I hadn't even thought of before. I am so relieved, and glad to have found this site, and the willing and friendly people on it. Good to know that friendly South Africans still exist.  ;)
