Just thought i would introduce myself, Name is Dustin Jacobsohn currently from Johannesburg but we are making our way to New Zealand. If all goes according to plan then we will be there before the end of February (Cannot Wait)

Hi Carlo, I spent a lot of my growing up years around the GB area myself. You will love NZ.

Christchurch is a great choice as you get more points for being out of Auckland.

Hi all, I am new to the site. My name is Sam from Bothas hill in Durban. my family and i are starting the process now. hopefully soon we will be somewhere in NZ.

could anyone tell me what areas in NZ have similar weather to SA if any? and what area should one be looking in?

Hi Sam,

Good luck with the process!

Auckland weather is a lot like Cape Town weather I reckon. The more North you go, the better it generally gets.

But getting enough points in Auckland is a bit of a challenge at the moment so you might need to look into other areas like Wellington etc.

This forum is getting hit badly with Spam at the moment so your post might get lost in it, I have created another forum which people are moving to. You are welcome to visit it and register. Some really helpful people that side too.
