Just this morning Mike and I were chatting about "current" news.....I seem to know more about NZ than SA....which just proofs that its really time to move on out......Everyday it's the same sh*t, or worse in SA....

Hope all goes well, Worsie!  Enjoy the kids!   I guess I better go sleep now... dunno why, but earlier on I was dood-moeg.  I climbed into bed around 8pm.  Kids all asleep, and then I just lay there.. for two hours... and then another half hour.. then got up to go to loo, and decided I was too awake... so came in here... now 3 hours later...  just got so much on my mind.  And what with Jan being so ill... ai...

Have you taken Jan to the doctor?  Is it like a flu bug?

thought it was flu, but it isn't.  They're doing tests now.  He's in hospital!  :'(  THey did urine and blood tests, and then at around 10:30pm they did a lumbar puncture.  :-\  I'm alone at home tonight.  I was able to drop the kids off with another SA couple we'd met at church, whose kids are the same age as ours.  They've been so kind as to keep the kids overnight!  What a God-send!  Will go in to the hospital first thing in the morning to see what they say.  They're testing for meningitis.  His fever keeps shooting up to 40.5.  Hadn't been able to bring it down in 5 days. He's so weak, I had to help do the U-sample.  poor guy.  He's hardly EVER sick!  :-\

Gee Colleen sorry to hear that.  I hope its not menegitis (I had that) .  I must say the thought did go through my head when you said he was complaining of a sore head.

When are they expecting the results back?  At least once they have figured out what it is they can start treating him and he can start feeling better. :flowers: :smitten: Colleen
