I don't have enough points and they don't want me to tell them at the airport I came to look for work, thus illegally.  ;)  Or like Eileen says, a long, long, loooooong holiday. O0

To leave on a permanent holiday how risky is that and how much money would you need to get into the country?

You need to have $1000 per persone per month if they ask.  It is a calculated risk.  If you have nothing on you that gives away you are going for interviews then they have to prove you are there for other reasons.  You then just have to stick to your guns and not get stupid.

Hallo to all, yet another SA going to NZ. We're in the very early stages of our immigration - we are only starting our process and this site helped make the final decision and helped us get the ball on the roll. :D

Hi and welcome Tanya V!  Tell us a little more about yourselves... where in SA are you, and what do guys do, or intend to do in NZ.  And where would you like to settle, etc. etc.   Ja, well, I'm a professional "Agie", you know!  ;D
