Hi Theo,

try Flight Centre (phone their consultant nolan in Dainfern).  I have dealt with him since last week, and he does everything he says he will do and more.. Really nice guy.

Their prices are really good.  They always have specials on.  He quoted me one way R6800 which is really good.

What I have done for a while was subscribe to kayak.com  Their prices were really pricey.  I also went on to travel start for a while and while their prices were good, there were better.

Then what I did was I went onto the actual airline pages and tried to get prices there.
Then I phoned Flight Centre.

On the Emirates site, I got a quote for R7270.  I got the same booking through Flight Centre for R6800.  The reason for this is that Emirates is a Platinum client of FC - so FC gets the rates even more reduced.

FC also explained to me why prices between Singapore Airlines and Emirates and Quantas are so different.  Emirates airlines are subsidised by the Govt.  The flight that I was quoted - the airport taxes were only R270 - the others were a couple of thousand.  That is why Emirates is soooooooooooo much cheaper...

Hi Theoe, and welcome again...

How come if you have a job offer already, are you only coming for  look-see?  Why not come over now for real, for keeps?
Or did I miss something...? ???
