Thanks again

I read one of the threads about risks of going through NZ immigration when on 'holiday' and one contributor (Rayzaman, I think) pointed out that NZ immigration officials are very, very sharp and work 'behind the scenes'. Anyway, got me thinking and I am now worried that using my name on this site may be risky - can I changer my username, Nolan??? Maybe these clever immigration officials are keeping tabs on such sites??

I see everyone else uses pseudonyms (no guesses that I am new to this online chatting thing)

If they are keeping tabs, may be too late for me ...

Kathy

They would never do that, but if you feel more comfortable changing your nickname then go for it.

I expected much worse when I got to passport control at Auckland airport, I was all geared up for CIA interrogation, yet it couldn't have been more of a breeze, it was quite pleasant.

Nico, it's expert, but expat sounds better O0

Kathy, you can change you username if you want, but NZIS doesn't hang around the site looking for folks to nab. Most folks use nicknames because they don't want their boss to find out ;)

go to your profile and change it from there. Just remember that your display name will then be different to your registered name for next time you need to login.
