Wow, so many people already answering, fantastic, I can't wait to get there but regret leaving friends & family behind.  Thankfully my best mate is there & one other friend will arrive just after new year & I bet that makes a difference.

The final arrangements for my hubby's job has to come through & we still have to sell everything here in a hurry obviously when that's done.  I assume it would be b 4 March nxt year.

Hey Tash,

If your house is not on the market now - put it on tomorrow.  There are a lot of us struggling to sell our homes because of the slow market.

Where in SA are you?

Howdy Natashah.

We live in Kempton Park.  My hubby's being modest & refuses to do anything b 4 he gets the final go ahead, I do understand.  Fortunately the street we live in has business rights & the houses sell like ice cream on a hot day so I really hope it won't be a problem selling but it will only be in the new year anyway & my dad will handle things if needs be.  Cars etc. has to be sorted as well.  What does break my heart is I have to find houses for all my pets as it's just too expensive to relocate them to NZ.

Hey Tash,

We are here in Weltevreden Park.  I understand about the pets.  I have 2 gorgeous dogs and a cat without a tail that I have no idea what we are going to do about..

(anyone got someone who lives on a farm that is not leaving that wants 2 beautiful dogs)

We are stressing about them.

On the other hand, we are stressing about the house not selling. :-\
