Man shot dead for prayer shawl
« on: December 24, 2007, 09:46:59 am »
On Saturday morning, 22 Dec 2007, at 09h20, a man was walking to the synagogue with a bag containing his prayer shawl.
A white/cream toyota conquest JCC...GP with two black males drove past and shot him three times. He died a few minutes later due to his injuries.
The only thing that was taken was the prayer shawl.
This incident happened approximately 70m from the synagogue in Lyndhurst.

The killers probably thought that the bag containing the prayer shawl had some valuables in, so please be careful when carrying all types of bags.

Not even allowed to go to a place of worship without fearing for your life anymore!!!! :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:

I'm so distraught at this news,  :'( :'( but hopefully by posting this it makes people just a bit more cautious.
