This is what it has cost us to come over on 3 year work permits and our residency will go through in May... OUCH!

Easy one Bev

We had to do medicals in SA to get our work permits, and now we need to re do them here in NZ for our ITA as medicals are only valid for 3 months.
Also, we did not have to supply a police clearance from the UK for the WP - only PC for SA, but now for ITA we need both... so we have to apply for the UK one.

Container                                          R  40 000
Car                                                    R 100 000
'Touring' for 1mnts                            R   50 000
'Living' for 2 mnts                              R   50 000
Consultant                                        R   30 000
EOI / Permits / Medicals (twice)         R   30 000

=====                   R 350 000  !!!!
Plus whatever we lost trying to get everything sold 'quickly' OMG  :tickedoff:

Still this was at R5 / $ - add another 50% if you do it now... :heeha:

Still everything is paid for now, so it's just living expenses - no debts  :clap:
