Not an important question (used to the not having ANY), but what's the Public Transport like in NZ?  Would like to know, my son is complaining regulary about not being able to go in a train, he asked this morning if he will be able to once we move....

I catch the train into work every morning, in the past 6 months its never failed me apart being late once or twice. Late being longer than 15minutes. I get notified by SMS of any delays on the line, this is a free service. I have heard that Wellington has the best public transport system in NZ because of its trains, however the trains and station are quiet old and they are being upgraded soon. (or so they say). Many school children here catch the trains to school. I am in Wellington, don't know too much about the other cities.
