My wife is 24, daughter 14 and i'm 34. We are from JHB and can't wait to get outta here! Our tentative departure date is 15th Dec but i might have to leave earlier due to employment reasons. Im not sure if im going to Auckland or Wellington as there are two positions open. I'm waiting to find out which. I have some friends in Auckland and my sister will be going there as well, so i'm hoping i get placed there

P.S. Didi, I honestly loved your point of view on that. My OH and older brother is in IT so I know a couple: PEBCAK is an IT word for 'Problem Exists Between Computer And Keyboard' - I get that alot

Another brilliant one is I D 10 T - which is IDIOT.

Welcome and lucky you will miss all the winter weather when you arrive. Gives you a bit of time to acclimatize (is this how you spell it?). Winter is here in full force and we have 4 seasons in a day in Auckland.
