Hi Louise.  Shame, it cant be nice to be seperated from your DH for so long.  But at least when you get to NZ you know you wont have to deal with it ever again  ;)

Just stay on the forum and we will do what we can to keep you strong.

Louise I think you will find there are a few wives who went/are going through the same thing. I have been going it " solo" for the last 4 months already! There will be many down times but you will get through it faster than you think. Feel free to pm me. Us gals need to stick together and staan sterk for our menfolk. It is just as difficult for them as it is for us. Also remember to pop in to the ladies lounge :gl:

hi Louise,  :)
Thanks for the welcome, I'm selfemployed own 2 business's the first I'm a partner in and have been at it the last 5 yrs, the 2nd is a small transport business which I've started last year Feb.

I'm hoping to go over (LSS/LSD) around Sept - Oct but it could be as late as Feb - Mar next year

Must say I'm a bit jealous of you guys  :)

Stay well

Ahh, thank you all for your encouraging words.  I know I am not the first wife to go thru this and I certainly will not be the last, either way, it's difficult.  I am sure it is a lot worse for hubby, he had to do this alone, at least i have the boys.  Thank goodness for Skype!

On a positive note - we are at least moving in the right direction, each step we take is a step closer to our new home, and who said it was going to be easy.  It will all be worth it in the long run. (And even more so if I get to lose a kilo or two in the process).

Oh my gosh, dance - 4 months already!!!!  I signed up for the ladies lounge yesterday, so I am sure I will be seeing you there soon.

Thanks for the info Hannes - before you know it, you will be on your way.  It seems like yesterday when we started our planning and today hubby is in NZ.

Thanks again everyone - you are all great.
