We were originally very set on Australia. In fact we score far higher on their points system than we do on the NZ side. But tbh the beauty of NZ is a huge attraction. At first we saw it as a stepping stone. We just wanted out of SA and we thought we would look at NZ first and then Australia but the more I interact with NZ employment agencies and potential employers the more I am absolutely charmed.
The fact that the agencies welcome international applications is a huge difference to start off with. And the warm responses have been great.
I think we have been gently led to NZ by our higher power. I am so excited.
