Hi Guys,

As requested by Saturn_Moon I'm telling a bit more:

May 07:           1st appointment with Willie at Newcor Immigration
Oct 07:            EOI
Dec 07:            PR Lodgement
Mar 08:            PR Interview
May 08:           PR Approved in principle
Jun 08:            Received PR visas
1 Sept 08:       DH arrived in Auckland
25 Dec 08:       Me & kids arrived in Auckland

Sorry, can't remember all the rest...feels like a million years ago.

We live in Browns Bay, son (13) goes to Northcross Intermediate, daughter (17) goes to Long Bay College, DH works in Auckland - Telecomms, me....ousie, gardner, taxi, cook, etc.

Anna, my daughter of 15 and son of 18 is also in Long Bay. We also lived in Brownsbay but moved to Torbay to be closer to the school. If you like sewing or craft - I'm giving classes and at the moment all my students is SAfricans. Not that I mind to give to other people also classes. That will help to improve my english because all the people I'm working with or baking rusks for is Afrikaans.  Oh....I also bake SA rusks. Variety to choose from  :D

Thought I will do some marketing on the forum.... :smitten:

Another great way to meet other SAfricans. Wish I could sew...I regret it till this day... I hated my "Huishoudkunde" teacher... enough said.  :blush:

But we would like to participate in some other crafts.
