While reading all of your stories I can’t believe that we were in that same boat just a mere 8 months ago… always looking over your shoulder, always stressing about your safety, always locking your car doors, always locking home doors and setting alarms, always worrying about your kids safety, always suspecting someone of something etc. etc. etc.

It feels like a million years ago now…

If you only come to NZ for 1 reason, that will be it.

Damn, 25 of the buggers is hectic!

Heard from a friend last night they broke into his fathers house and shot him 3 times... Luckily he survived, but when you heard stories close to home like that it's very sad, and makes me furious!

Another thing anoying me lately is these damn striking municipal workers! Apparently the JHB CBD was chaos yesterday with them marching in Simmonds Street and emptying dustbins etc...

The Pick N 'pay story is in our local newspaper "the Benoni City Times " wether it makes it to the big rags is another story as Falls spar , Checkers Northmead Square and pretoria rd Spar has also been struck in the last 3 weeks it looks like supermarkets are the next official sport in SA

Now I hear from my moms that this past week 4 people they know in 4 different incidents have been shot dead in Pretoria East there were they stay. One of them being one of my grandmothers friends on a plot down Lynnwood Road.

I'm not gatvol anymore, they need to invent a new word for what I am...

things must pretty bad in SA as it is even making the news on this side. There seems to be an increasing amount of reality check stories being aired on international TV lately. They always wake up too late though
