Great idea Fari, but we had to register months ago with soccer SA. Jip you can make loads of money renting out your house during this time, but just thinking of somebody else sleeping in my bed makes my skin crawl!  :D

Sorry to be bearer of bad news - but Match cancelled thousands of beds with people who had registered their properties (private homes) - it was on the news the other night.
People had spent money to get their properties ready - buying bedding - repainting etc.  They were up in arms...the one lady they interviewed said they cancelled with her now - when the people where supposed to move in for the whole month this Saturday. She was devastated.  People have lost a lot of money - and MATCH said its not their problem.

surely if they all get together the can get some kind of legal recourse? I have heard that the 80% of hotels and guest houses that where pre booked by FIFA (without deposites) are now falling througe as well and fifa is also not going to be held accountable even thou in order to register for the 2010 they had no choice in the fifa bookings.

Sounds to me like FIFA stands for ****ing Idiot Football Association.
