Reasons people leave NZ - not back to SA

We know many couples that have left NZ and I am sure there are many on this forum that know someone that has left NZ, not just to go back to SA - but to go to another country.

We are leaving due to :

1. Lack of medical care - since we did not take out Private Medical when we arrived. Now paying back pay on medical costs of last two years and present medical costs.

2.  Lack of employment opportunities - my husband is in the same position in NZ as in SA, having initially stepped back to break into NZ market. Now there are not many (4-6 we are told by agents) on his level for advancement - so we have been told to look offshore if he wants to advance any further in his career. He has a BSc and is in senior management in IT.

3.  Many other reasons, but these are the main reasons for us.

Other people we knew also mentioned lack of employment opportunities in their fields, due to the size of NZ.
