Bathing stuff!
« on: October 05, 2010, 10:32:56 am »
Me again on the shopping  :2funny:

Help!!! .......................... :pullhair: where can I get proper bath sponges that don't disintegrate after the first bath. I paid $2.50 for one yesterday, had a nice bath and what was left of it just disappeared   :2funny: If I can't find one soon I am going to buy some of those big ones at Warehouse that is used for washing cars and cut them into smaller sizes, at least they seem a bit stronger.

Thanks

I needed some good sponges for painting and needle felting , and it was difficult to find cheapies.  But, these are stiff when dry, but soft when wet.  At New World.  Not for bathing, but I think for cleaning . Not cheap.   I cut the thin ones up, and left the others.  They are holding up very well.

Otherwise, for actual bathing ones (never seen them ) maybe look at Spotlight ?  Don't they have bathroom accessories, etc ?

I actually tried to dry some sea sponge which we get washed up here daily, but can't seem to get the smell out of them  :2funny:
