I was going to say something along the same lines as Nolan. AT this stage, if you get a job ANYWHERE in NZ, it's going to be a plus for you... if you really don't like it, then you can always look for a job elsewhere later, and then have the advantage of having a WP already, AND having NZ experience.  So it's always a plus!!
lekker sweet as, y'all

Alan I would certainly look at those jobs in Invercargill, better to get cold for a while than miss your deadline  :-X :-\

Yep! I suppose at this stage of the game I can't afford to be fussy. You don't hear much about Invercargill on the forum. I'll have to check it out on Google Earth and the web. :-\

Having stayed in Jo'burg all my life I would be happy to go somewhere smaller and quieter.

Thanks Marcia for the welcome. Hope your first day at work went well
I've booked my ticket, arriving 4th Feb just before midnight, its going to be a long day :sweat:but I will have the week end to recover and down to business on Mon. Looking forward to trying the public transport.  O0 I don't want to hire a vehicle unless it is really required. Need to stretch the SA rands as far as possible.

Lots to do and time is few.
