21!!! I'm going to get my mom to go to INZ next seminare (9th may)

If my parents were to use IMMagine NZ as immigration counselors, would they handle all of the tasks such as filing the EOI and the application of residence?

This is the million dollar issue with immigration agents.  All they do is guide you and answer your questions about completing the forms, but they don't actually complete them for you.  You have to get all the paperwork together yourself anyway.  Most forum members will agree that using an agent (unless you have a very complicated case) is a total waste of money.  It is very easy to do yourself and all the guides on completing the forms can be downloaded from the INZ website.  Very user friendly and easy to understand.  If you get stuck, phone their call centre - they are very helpful.  We started off with an agent and then changed our minds and did everything ourselves - piece of cake.  My advice if you do decide to use an agent is to tell them that you are not prepared to do any of the paperwork and they must do it all on your behalf - all you will do is supply the info - make them work for their money.   :gl:
