A warm welcome to the forum!!!  :welcome:
You'll love it here! My whole entire successful move to NZ would never have happened if it weren't for the information on the forum and for the kindness of the people here. Now I'm happily in my 3rd week of moving to NZ & loving it!!!
May your road ahead and all your plans work out perfectly...

WOW!!... I really am green with envy right now... :envy:...

I am really glad to see that it is still very much a good idea to move to NZ.. O0

and thanx to all for the many warm welcomes..  :smitten:

Welcome!!  At the top of the forum screen there is a menu and the second item is "My Move".  Mouse over it, and a drop down list appears.  Amongst other helpful things on there is the "checklist".  Which will help you make sure you have all the necessary docs before applying.
All the best, and yes... THIS FORUM ROCKS!  Ok, I'm biased... I'm the first member to have signed up here...

Anyway... enjoy  :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:
lekker sweet as, y'all

Moses, a little secret someone once told me regarding home affairs in CT.  Go to the one in Wynberg, but go at 2:30.  They close their doors at 3 and won't let anyone else in, and as they are wanting to get home, they process everything quickly.  Worked for me.  I was in and out in an hour.

Remember that you can opt to have your papers posted to you, so that you don't have to return to queue to fetch them.

We used Malmesbury Home Affairs and never stood in a queue for very long.  They were fairly helpful and we got what we needed in not too much time. Admittedly that was about 4 years ago now.
