Would you emigrate from south africa where you have a job to New Zealand if neither you nor your partner had a job secured in NZ??

Yes, if either of us has the skills to find a job quickly, I would.  At least there I wouldn't have to live in fear of being raped or murdered every day of my life.

Also, if I have waited and been granted PR, why not?  I can go over and get any job... both partners can get any job... sure, it's not at the same materialistic quality of living as in SA perhaps (who knows though?)  but at least the quality of LIFE is a hundred fold better.

Yes, that is what I'm doing. It's much less of a risk than living in South Africa everyday !

In NZ, all jobs are fair game, where in SA, you are confronted with AA wherever you go.

Yes, even if I didn't have kids.  I wanted to immigrate more than 10 years ago and should have done it then.  It would have been much easier to do it without kids.
