Sending flowers to SA?
« on: November 10, 2011, 07:46:16 pm »
Hi guys. Has anyone done this? If you have, how much did it cost all in all, looking at a basic floral arrangement, nothing too fancy.

What would be the cheapest way? Interflora? Or would it be better to get someone in SA to order and send and I put $$$$ into their bank account?

Any advice, greatly appreciated  :-*

I've used netflorist. Pay with credit card and they've got some nice arangements for about R200

I've also used Netflorist on a regular basis and never had any problems with them.
They also do gift hampers and lots of other things.

Hi, best way is to log onto the Woolworths website, you can send anything from the Woolies Foods dept, chocs and biscuits etc. MUCH cheaper with flowers than Netflorist, pay with credit card - and delivery gets there safely!  :yippee:  Good ole Woolies, I miss them very much...

I guess one can use your NZ credit card? know it might be a silly question but we could not use our SA credit card on this side for on line shopping so I was wondering if you can use your NZ one on SA websites?

Thanks for the question Tui was wondering about this myself  ;)

Thanks Thombatt! sorry but what do you mean with horrible rate? does this mean that it could be expensive to buy stuff in SA? I am seriously stupid when it comes to these things

Thank you for the info re Netflorist.

I immediately tried them and about 5 hours later the flowers where delivered to my sister in Durban. The cost was about $57.00 through my credit card.

Not sure why some of you could / can't use your SA credit card this side. I used mine here locally and for buying on the internet with no problems.
Kind regards,

Edwin
