Here's to celebrating our third ani in Wellington!
« on: December 16, 2011, 06:53:06 PM »
Just to say, we are on a mini break away to celebrate our first wedding ani.  Lovely to be married, never thought it was for me, but it's awesome!

But, I am a vision person, someone who needs goals to reach and we've decided to reach Wellington before we have our third one.  2 years to get there!

Lol, this poor forum has to hear every dream I have but seriously, if I talk about it, it feels more real...

Want my first baby to be born a Wellingtonista! :)

It is good to have dreams.  We decided that we would be in NZ for the RWC and for Xmas 2010.  And we did it !!!

Congratulations on your wedding anniversary.  Marriage is wonderful and with some work can carry on being wonderful.  We celebrate 22 years in Feb .

Hi there,

Sounds like a good dream, and a solid date that you can use to get your plans in gear!

We've also passed our 2 year anniversary mark, so hopefully by 3rd year we will (still) be in Auckland.  Best step we made was booking the tickets - then you really can't budge the date!

Thank you guys! The people on this forum are just so lovely!!

Honestly think it would be so daunting a procedure if it didn't help knowing there were people who went through the same and came out tops!

My parents on law can't wait for us to buy a house and last night OH came home and told me about a complete bargain in a really nice neighbourhood.  I immediately was torn between buying a house and settling down like we are supposed to... Or go on another advenrure.

The last couple of days, I've earnestly prayed for just one last adventure... I can't settle down as yet,  OH is fine, he can probably live here forever being the Stellenboscher that he is.

I need to, however, ensure a better future for our unborn children and the aged couple we will be one day.  Having a different passport is key.

Last night, after having all these complicated thoughts, completely by accident, I read this piece again:

Luke 11:9-And so I tell you, keep on asking and you will receive what you ask for.  Keep on seeking, and you will find.  Keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who seeks, finds.  And for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

In the end, I know the right thing will happen! X

True words to follow and remember one thing that if something is not meant to be their will always be danger signs that you must look out for, but the otherside of the coin is also true, if the opportunity or door opens and you can do it and it feels right, go for it. In our case everything from start to finish was just a blessing and just kept on falling into place. So we are eager and excited to get on the plane 17 Jan 2012 and start our new life in NZ. Another important mind change is whenever you decide to go for it, it will require full commitment from all parties involved and a very strong stable marriage, ....no half measures or leaving a backdoors open. Good luck on the decision and hopefully you can experience the joy of receiving your passport back with a sticker inside that says, go on over to a new adventure and chapter in your life...........
