Rodster if I were in your position I would have bitten my nails down to nothing already. Everything sounds very positive from both companies. Hang in there! I'm sure after all those trial by fire interviews the personality test will go just fine. :gl:

UPDATE TIME!

It's with numbness in my fingers that I type this. I have received feedback from both companies! I have received both job offers!!!!  :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:
Both companies mailed me on Sunday evening. Company A mailed to inform me that they would like to make me an offer and would like to send it through to me to review, but asked me to raise any questions I might have regarding anything. So I asked about relocation and if they would be willing to assist. Not sure how popular that is with NZ companies.

The email from Company B was to inform me that they would like to contact me telephonically to confirm if I have been successful or not! Well, I got the call at 9:30 to inform me that I have been successful in securing employment with them!  :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:
45 mins later and the job offer in writing is in my Inbox!

This is just too overwhelming at the moment. Think I just need to sleep now and wake up and pinch myself! More details tomorrow.

Heeheehee  :yippee: that is awesome news, Rodster.

I also think you are the exception rather than the rule so we don't want people to think this is normally what NZ companies do..... but some of them still do it for the right immigrants and we have to applaud them for that..... so yay to them  :yippee: :yippee:

Thanks so much everybody! I'm truly humbled and certainly feel blessed. I have not been able to concentrate on my work at all today, with so many thoughts rushing through my mind!
I've mailed Company A to ask about their assistance with relocation. I am awaiting their response on this. Company B have given me a start date of 14 January 2014, pending Visa approval, although the date is not cast in stone. The benefits are absolutely fantastic, BUT they are offering a salary of NZ$10k p/a less than Company A. Not sure how much of a difference this can make is one's monthly salary. Company A is offering a senior role, hence the higher package and is based in central Auckland, a walk away from the harbour! :)

Company B is based in the south of Auckland in the suburbs. Transport there might be an issue, since we aiming to live in the North Shore.

So yes Goldie, still on cloud 9, but still very overwhelmed!!

@ TheJo of course I'll share, as soon as I make that difficult decision!  :)

@ Dan where in Auckland are you?

thanks again everyone - feels like talking to family on here! :)
