My advice in retrospect
« on: October 29, 2013, 01:38:21 am »
We have been living in Whangarei, NZ for 5 and a half years now and have just received our Citizenship

I still get friends approaching me from South Africa asking for help with their/ their kids/ their neighbors immigration questions and I tell them that I can only give them one really good piece of advice:

Join the SAgoingtoNZ forum.

So all though I am not active on the forum anymore (because we love our life here soooo much we don't have time for the computer  ;)) I come back here once a year to say :

THANK YOU AND WELL DONE Nolan and loyal forum folk!! Yes we could have done it with out you. But would we have been sane at the end?  :idiot2:

I will continue sending everyone who asks the questions your way

 :flowers:

Didi

Yes, here I am again. I just popped in to get some details for a friend and wish everyone out there good luck with their applications.

Wish winter would go away and summer would hurry up!

Then again, I do live in the winterless north, so what do I have to complain about  :)

Greetings to all my old friends.

Love
Didi

Didi, I joined around the same time as you did and the two of us had plenty of chats at the time.  And MandyH and Nolan at the time.  All the assistance on this forum is what got me to NZ and kept me going through the grueling immigration process.  Our citizenship coming up next year.  I agree, I also refer everyone interested in immigration to NZ to this forum because there is truly none better!
