Newbie needing immi advice
« on: June 01, 2014, 06:15:31 pm »
Hi all

I hope someone can give me immi advice before submitting an EOI. My family and I are planning to immigrate to NZ. I have done the IELTS test and obtained scores (7, 6.5, 7.5, 8.5). I successfully obtained the work skills assessment under the code 135112, ICT Project Manager with the Australian Computer Society (ACS) May 2014. I have more than 9 years ICT project management work experience.

Firstly, I would like to know whether the ICT Project Manager is part of the scarce skills in NZ? Secondly, does the work skill assessment i did with ACS have strong weight for me to obtain PR in NZ? Lastly, what IELTS band scores do i need to obtain PR in NZ?

I checked and read through the NZ immi site, but just need some more info from those who has been through this process.

I will appreciate some feedback.

Thanks

Hi and  :welcome:

We are not allowed to give immigration advice on this forum as it is an offence to give said advice without being a licensed immigration advisor.

The skills shortage lists are on the INZ site. If you go onto SA going to NZ's home page there is a link to connect you with a licensed immigration advisor who can answer your questions.

Good luck!

Contact an experienced licensed adviser. It is worth the cost.

Hi Sebrose,

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all well.

I just need some guidance and assistance with regards to qualifications.
I have a 3 year diploma in Business Management which I obtained in 1999. I also obtained an UNISA certificate in Supply Chain Management in 2009. Should this also be assessed by NZQA or is it exempted?
Should I also obtain transcripts of results?
I have qualified under the ANZCO code  135112 (ICT Project Manager) and is suitable for migration.
Your assistance will be dearly appreciated.
