Document certification in SA
« on: March 25, 2015, 02:30:46 pm »
We have a TON of documentation that needs to be certified for INZ. Attorneys want to charge us R100 per doc  :help: Does anyone have any advice as to where else we could go to get these done? We're in Joburg.

Hi there,
As far as I am aware, any commissioner of oaths should be able to certify documents for you, such as the post office here (PMB) charges per document and also a police station should be able to as well
Hope this helps

Certification by the police is not accepted. We had all of ours done by our attorney, but they didn't charge us anything.

Hi, we have just had a whole lot certified by our Minister at church.  He is a commissioner of oaths and is able to do it.
Hope this helps.
