Good day everone

Good day everyone :)

I would like some advice.

I am currently studying Law (3rd year) in South Africa. Upon completion of my studies, I would like to move to New Zealand. My elder brother recently moved to Wellington in September 2014, which sparked my interest to maybe do the same.

I am aware that NZ and SA's legal systems are similar, but not the same, and that I need to complete a type of transitioning process before I can even think of completing the practical course in order to become an attorney.

I need advice for whether my plans would be practical or not?

Thank you very much in advance.
Regards

Hi there,

Why not investigate completing your studies in NZ instead of SA? That might be easier for you in terms of getting a visa (student). If you complete your studies in SA, how realistic is it that you would be able to move to NZ? You would most likely need a job and with a non-NZ degree and no work experience you might find that there aren't opportunities for you.
