Teach me Hamilton
« on: June 22, 2007, 04:21:55 am »
For those of you who have been there, or have family there, please let me know which areas are good or bad or inbetween.  it seems like quite a largish city, and whereas I was able to somehow quickly determine where the better areas were in Palmerston, I don't seem to be able to do the same for Hamilton.
So where do I start looking for rentals and/or houses to buy?  Which areas to avoid?

And what do you know about Ngaruawahia - which is about the same distance north of Hamilton as Cambridge is south?

I've only passed through Hamilton about 10 ten ;) times but I did love the countryside, looked awsome O0
Ngarauawahia is where the Moari King lives, so it's sort of a moari area. This may interest you? HERE

HERE is a search I did for sales for you on trademe O0

HERE on rentals O0

We have family in Hamilton. THey live in Deanwell and say that the area is lovely. They bought a brand new house about a year ago for $300 000 with all the trimmings and they are loving it. We would like to settle in Hamilton once OH has worked his 2 year contract out
