I've been out of SA for a long time now and even when I was there I noticed how things were spiraling out of control. What confuses me is, why can't or won't other people see it? I know of people who can leave (skills and money), but still go on saying, yeah it bad, but not that bad >:( So how bad is bad >:(
This frustrates the hell out of me? Do they just not want to see it? :idiot2:

I know several friends that would also like to leave but there are some complications:

1) Age - Most people over 55 feel it is too late. Which country would take them ?
2) Money - People cannot afford it - full stop
3) Family ties - not easy to leave your mother & father behind etc.

I have friends who left SA at 68 and 70 for Australia on retirement visas.....just couldnt cope with the carnage in SA any longer. OK, they do have millions.

Other friends in JHB (who have been shot repeatedly in a hijacking) love their lifestyle far too much (big house, 3 servants, fancy cars, etc). They say they are not prepared to clean up after themselves. CRAZY!!!

it is frustrating for me too as my dad will qualify as a skilled migrant but chooses not to. In 3 years time it will be too late for him as he will be 55 so the time for him to leave is now

That's what I was wondering, but I'm sure it will be finished soon.

Most shops are reportedly out of bread and meat.

The ANC and similar won't touch Uncle Bob, remember who sheltered the ANC etc. cadres, when they were trying to liberate SA from the Racist Pretoria Regime. >:D  News today, is that Zim has run out of food and most other products. The SA companies operating there won't replenish as they are losing money hand over fist. Huge number of arrests, of people stock piling food etc. or refusing to half their prices. Even managed to arrest and imprison the top guy from Edcon (Edgars), when he went up tehre to try and solve the problems and secure the release of his resident staff??? From what I've heard the ZANUPF supporters are the only ones that get food from the relief agencies, as the government controls that. MDC supporters sweat, starve and die. Heck, just looked at what I've written, what a horror story. And all just to appease a lunatic dictator, who apparently has some socially transmitted disease eating away at what brain he had. :crazy2:
In short, BOB is protected game, by the likes of Mbeki!!!!!

I hope the world sees that the white Rhodesians who were hanging onto power were doing so to preserve civilization in Africa.

I hope all the liberals out there see what black rule has done to Africa. At least under white "racist" rule the "people" had food and work.

Ditto Rotovegas. I wish I could remember the name of the movie, at the very beginning, this pompous Englishman says "we need to save Africa from the Africans...." Too late she cried. As someone else once said, "if you don't think Africa is violent....watch a sunset". Just so sad that no one seems to realise what is happening, bar those of us who have lived / survived here. I'm ex Northern Rhodesia (NOT ZAMBIAN), even though my birth certificate now states that as my birth place. So Rotovegas, I can empathise with your sentiments, and as Allan Paton said "CRY THE BELOVED COUNTRY", not the way he saw it but for what has and is happening now. :help:

Its not PC at all but a reality. Africans everywhere have not been able to survive without white "aid". I am sick and tired of being blamed for all their problems. Half of Africa has been "free" for over 40 years and is poorer now than back then.
