well, my OH has a 6 year jack russell that has gone to work with him (and everywhere else) everyday since she was 8 weeks old - we refer to her as our 1st born and he has been undecided what to do about taking her with or not....  i told him i would support him in whatever decision he made but it was his decision...

after lots of research and discussions with our vet he has decided to not take her.    so.....

anybody, please in the Cape Town area who knows of somebody who would love, cherish and worship the best dog in the world, please PM me - OH says he will put her down if we don't find her a brilliant home....  :'( :'( :'(

thanks

Hi noodles mom, I recommend, you take photographs and design a nice e-mail and send it out to everybody on e-mail.  Oh man, I don't even want to think about that at this stage.   :'( My staffie is 10 years old, and I have known him for longer than my Husband!!!   :gl:

@ noodles mom -  :gl: I really hope you find a nice home for your Jack Russell

@BevMac - glad to hear that at least your 'boy' is with someone you know and trust. I hope it becomes easier over time but at least when you are in SA on holiday you know you can visit him - although I don't know if this won't make it more difficult for you?  :gl: and wishing you all the best.

You can phone Keringa to get a quote.  When I got one about 2 years ago it worked out to roughly R25 000 per cat - flight and 4 months quarantine.

Think it might be more now...It cost me R19 000 for my dog at Karinge, (flight included) we must pay then p/week here in NZ. But at the moment she is still by Karinge in SA... :'( You can defenitely make use of them, they are really very good in what they doing - every sent worth!

I don't know if you guys know this, but all dogs must have a "dog license" in NZ and they are advertising in Rotorua at the present moment on the radio stations that all licenses must now be re-newed at $300 per year and according to the add it is cheap for NZ. And also according to the add: "if you cannot afford the license, maybe you cannot afford the dog". Eish, hulle speel nie hier nie. Cheers, SAKB.
